Through Him the worlds were formed/ and all things were created. For the sake of us men/ and for our salvation/ He came down from heaven/ and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit, and became man and was conceived/ and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered and was crucified/ in the days of Pontius Pilate, died and was buried; and on the third day/ rose again as it is written. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of His Father. He will come again to judge the dead and the living. We believe in one Holy Spirit; the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, the life giving Spirit. We believe in one, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. We confess one baptism for remission of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Lord our God, together with the heavenly hosts we give you thanks. We glorify and bless God the Word, hidden offspring from your bosom. Born of a woman, He became a complete human being with a rational, intelligent and immortal soul, and a mortal body. He subjected himself to the law, in order to redeem those who were under law. He left for us the memorial of our salvation, this redemptive mystery, which we now offer before You.

To make us share in Your divine life, You assumed our human nature, restored us from our fallen state, and brought us from death to life eternal. Forgiving our debts You sanctified us sinners, enlightened our minds, defeated our enemies, and glorified our frail nature by Your immense grace.

C:

We give You glory and honour, thanksgiving and adoration for all Your favours and graces You have granted us, now + always, and forever.

All:

Amen.

S:

Pray in your hearts; peace be with us.

(On Days of Commemoration of the Dead)

C:

Lord, hear our prayer. May our supplications reach Your presence. Receive our sacrifices and offerings, and pardon the offences of the departed ones. Lord, mercifully accept this sacrifice that we offer on behalf of Your servant(s) as You accepted the first sacrifice of Abel, the innocent, and the sacrifices of Noah, the spotless and blameless, of Abraham who put his trust in You, of Job who bore his afflictions patiently, of Elias Your true prophet, and of Your disciples in the Upper Room. Accept this sacrifice as You accepted the widow's mite.
Make our departed brother (sister/brethren) worthy to enter the heavenly bridal chamber together with the just who have done Your will. Lord, accept this sacrifice that we offer on behalf of Your servant(s); forgive the debts and blot out the iniquities of this departed person and his (her/their) loved ones. Merciful Lord! Make this (these) humble servant(s) worthy to dwell in the heavenly bridal chamber, on Your right side with the Just ones. Remember this (these) servant(s) in that blessed and glorious place and grant him (her/them) happiness and eternal peace. May he (she/they) offer Your Divine Trinity praise and honour, thanksgiving, and worship forever. May all of You who have participated in this holy service be made worthy of the forgiveness of sins through the divine mercy. Lord, Our God! Pour out Your abundant blessings on this congregation, on this house, and on all of us.Now + always, and forever.

All:

Amen.

(Farewell Prayer)

C:

Praise to you, altar of sanctification! Praise to you, the sepulchre of Our Lord! May the holy Qurbana that I have received from You, be for me unto the forgiveness of my debts and the remission of my sins. I know not, whether I shall come again to offer another sacrifice.

Prayer for Priests

O Jesus, Eternal Priest; keep all Your priests within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart, where none may harm them. Keep unstained their anointed hands which daily touch Your Sacred Body. Keep unsullied their lips purpled with Your Precious Blood. Keep pure and unearthly their hearts sealed with the sublime marks of Your glorious priesthood. Let Your holy love surround them and shield them from the world's corruption. Bless their labors with abundant fruit, and may the souls to whom they have ministered to be their joy and consolation and in Heaven their beautiful and everlasting crown.

Jesus, the saviour of the world, sanctify Your priests and seminarians
